Modern feminists tend to, in my experience, have come from repressive, Christian backgrounds and so their politics resemble teenage rebellion: all 'sex' is good sex/don't tell me what to do, mom! It's very immature and thoughtless. They also tend all to be middle and upper class, which obviously doesn't help.
