I mean, I'm not sure the primary argument for banning porn is that it leads directly to sexual assault, but I think we all know that propaganda and advertising are very effective and it makes sense to me that there has been a rise in for example the practice of choking women during sex, considering this is common in porn. I have a few ideas about curbing porn production, including apply the Nordic model of law to porn and enforcing labour standards (including health and safety standards and laws against sexual harassment and assault) on porn sets, which would effectively shut down production... If a few people want to voluntarily produce videos/images for free, fine, but profiting from other people's sexual imagery and paying for sex should be illegal imo.
