Many of us love to oversimplify when it comes to politics, and social media doesn’t help mitigate that urge. For those who hate Trump, there is little room for nuance: he is a rapist, a fascist, a dictator, a racist, a felon, and a misogynist. While some anti-Trumpers may believe Trump is a particularly dangerous threat to all that is right and good, they might be able to concede that those voting for Trump have reason to, albeit bad reason.
The feminists are another story.
The inability to understand why a woman who cares about women’s rights might vote for Trump, in feminists, appears to be an impenetrable wall — “but abortion” being the sole conclusion.
