I wish the Brits had stayed in Iraq and the Sudan. The Brits brought their academic high standards to each of its colonies. And these two countries did very well under British rule.
It reminded me of when I first read the book “Debunking of Howard Zinn” exposing how Zinn’s and the commonly understood version of Western history is largely fiction created by leftists. I was floored at how uncritically the mainstream anti-western version of history has just been accepted by our own society.
I realized how many “respected” acclaimed history books are written by leftists whose research often originates from the shoddy work of other leftist historians who hate the West just as much as they do.
I also loved your podcast on the Indigenous Residential School unmarked graves scandal. It seems almost impossible for a story to spread across the literal world like it did without a drop of common sense. It was fantastic how your guest brought up so many solid ,well researched arguments debunking not only the mass graves hoax but also debunking the widespread false accusations of abuse, neglect and cultural genocide by kidnapping nuns.
The relentless promotion of anti-colonialist history is this coordinated leftist ideological project that prioritizes narrative over facts. It weaponizes selective outrage in order to delegitimize Western civilization while shielding its own foundational myth from scrutiny. it’s bonkers.
