Let's become proud to be Canadian again
My talk in Victoria at 'Vancouver Island Speaks: Women’s spaces, parental rights, and protecting kids'
On Thursday, May 30th, we held the first ever panel event discussing gender identity, women’s sex-based rights and spaces, parental rights, and the impact of trans ideology on kids.
“Vancouver Island Speaks: Women’s spaces, parental rights, and protecting kids” was organized by just a few local women, and was supported by local donors and volunteers. Those of us who are connection to the Vancouver Island community, who spend time with regular working class people and families, and of course who are engaged in the fight to protect the spaces and rights of women and girls know how desperately these conversations are needed and desired. Yet the politicians, the media class, the elite progressives, and the activists believe they control the discourse. They think they can bully Canadians into silence and conformity. We refuse to let this stand. We will speak up, we will provide space for the community to speak about their concerns, and we will not let Canada continue down the path towards dystopia without a fight.
This event went off without a hitch, thanks to the generous support of our volunteers, security team, donors, ticket holders, and venue, though we feared backlash to such an extent we chose to keep the venue secret until day of. For those who missed Thursday’s event, not to worry — this is the first of many more. Subscribe here to stay up to date on future Vancouver Island Speaks! events.
“Vancouver Island Speaks: Women’s spaces, parental rights, and protecting kids” featured talks by April Hutchinson, Bryony Dixon, and Kellie-Lynn Pirie, and was moderated by April Kitzul. I will be posting their respective presentations on my YouTube channel, so do subscribe there as well so as to be sure not to miss those. As we are working on a shoestring (and often on nothing at all), I would be remiss to humbly request donations to support future events be sent via PayPal:
The following is a lightly edited transcript of my talk.

Thank you so much for coming out to Victoria’s inaugural Terfing! Does everyone know that term now?
For those who don’t know, TERF is an acronym that stands for “Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist” and it began as an attempt to shame feminists who refused to pretend that men can become women into submission, but despite the intense bullying, threats, firings, bannings, ostracization, censorship, and violence, it didn’t work — we refused to sit down and shut up and now the term has become badge of honour of sorts for anyone standing up for reality, women’s rights, and the safeguarding of kids. It goes to show how resilient we really are and that the truth cannot be suppressed, no matter how hard they try.
I guess these kinds of slurs often start out as a way to target and terrorize before becoming cute monikers embraced by the targets and gain cool kid status. And I think it’s safe to say that if Dave Chappelle’s on Team Terf, we have become the cool kids.
Unfortunately the NDP and the Liberals didn’t get the memo, and Justin Trudeau and Dave Eby are left clinging to their delusion that their constituents are either on board with this ongoing terrorism against women and girls they call “inclusivity” or they still believe Canadians are too scared to stand up and say “no.” Well, they’re wrong. We aren’t on board and we’re not scared.
