Sociopaths of the West unite!

A mostly peaceful assassination attempt unites humanity haters everywhere

It’s both nice and not nice to be reminded of who people really are. This weekend, as though watching throngs of privileged Westerners cheering on jihadis who would like to see them all dead over the past several months hasn’t been enough, we are once again reminded that we live among proud sociopaths.

I don’t say this as an excuse, because these people were not born without empathy or humanity, but rather have trained themselves to be this way. They are proud of their sociopathy — it is central to their politics and worldview.

On Saturday night, former and future President of the United States, Donald Trump, was shot. Just in the ear, but the ear, as many of you know, is attached to the head, making the assassination attempt an exceptionally near miss.

Any normal human being would watch the video of the incident, see Trump’s reaction, and take note that he was clearly surprised at having been shot in the ear.

If you are, on the other hand, a person who is so committed to their religion that they refuse to see what’s in front of their own eyes, then you might respond as many leftists did, and insist the murder attempt was a sham pulled off by Trump’s team themselves in order to gain support and win the election (which of course they now will, provided the CIA doesn’t try this again).

On what planet does any person who has not been shot in the head, and therefore has a functioning brain, believe that Trump would risk his own life and the lives of his supporters (one of whom was killed as a result of this assassination attempt, throwing himself in front of his wife and daughter to protect them) to win an election he already was very likely to win?

It would certainly make for a good story, but makes little sense to me, and should also make little sense to you, unless of course you live in a fantasy land of your own making, which I am now convinced all progressives do.

All hail the jihadis, end Israel, Trump is the literal second coming of Hitler, men are women, and we’re all going to die of climate change unless we start eating meat grown in a petri dish and buy an EV that the government can turn off whenever they see fit. Clown World achievement unlocked.

Imagine being proud of supporting terrorists and murderers! Well, you don’t have to imagine because that’s exactly what Western progressives are: proud.

They are proud to advertise their ability to dehumanize anyone who doesn’t share their politics, they are proud to rally around people who see them as heathens and would like to also see them dead, and they are proud to say, “Don’t miss next time.”

It would be easy to say that these kinds of responses are crazy or evil, because they do seem crazy and evil, but they are more than that.

As someone who was a committed leftist for most of her life, I have come to the conclusion that the problem with leftist politics is that they deal in ideals, not in reality. “The ends justify the means” is central to leftist ideology. We are to reorder the world, and the way to do that is via “revolution.” It doesn’t matter what is destroyed in the process (because the point is to destroy, so we can replace the rubble with our utopia) and it doesn’t matter who dies in the process, because we are creating a better world. Sacrifice is necessary if we wish to achieve all that is good and righteous.

There is actually little difference between the jihadis Western progressives are so enamoured with and the left themselves: they both hate the West and Western values, they hate free speech, they hate democracy, and they think violence and even death is justifiable if perpetrated against political/ideological enemies.
