The beige lingerie test

Is there anything to the viral "beige lingerie test"?

Circulating on X this week has been a post announcing that “Marrying a woman who doesn’t pass the beige lingerie test is plain crazy.”

The “test” suggests it will determine whether or not your girlfriend and future potential wife is “aggressively indifferent to your tastes,” based on her willingness to accommodate your legitimate or illegitimate demand that she never wear “beige lingerie” again.

The suggestion and defense of said suggestion is stupid for a number of reasons, not least of which being that most women are not wearing “lingerie” on a regular basis.
