Not that I am in support of any Islamists or terrorists, including al Sharaa, the current head of Syria, but the picture of the monster gleefully holding up two severed heads that Kelly referred to was of Mohamed Elomar, another ISIS filth (who was an Australian citizen) rather than al Sharaa, who is still nonetheless very much a terrorist, despite the new designer suit, and the warm welcomes in the White House and 10 Downing.
Also, while cousin marriage is incredibly common among the Pakistani community in the UK, which puts an incredible strain on the NHS due to the higher occurence of genetic diseases among children, it is not 70%, though still an atrocious 50-55%.
If I understand correctly, the late stage self-induced abortion to which Posey refers, happened under lockdown. This would certainly be an exacerbating factor. The woman was charged. Meghan is right that in these cases, the circumstances need to be considered. The spectre of women aborting at 7,8,9 months because we are all so naturally frivolous and don't know our own minds, is a monstrous misogynist trope.
It's disappointing to hear Posey advocating such inflammatory language like "murdering your baby", which is as disingenuous as the slut having abortions willy nilly and for kicks trope. It's disappointing that she projects her personal experience of motherhood onto others and makes such a feeble attempt at equanimity. She uses the word "evil' in reference to abortion when discussing images.
Sure, praying outside an abortion clinic is "fine" - and I can only assume Posey is as fine with it being Muslim prayer as Christian - but the conflation of silence prayer with activists shouting at a young rape victim that she's "murdering her baby" and shoving manipulative images (like showing a later stage fetus when it looks more human than, say, like a fish, which is where the fetus of most abortions will be), is reprehensible and should constitute harassment for legal purposes.
Yes, life is sacred. And many living things, human and non-human have their lives cut short, sometimes before they have even established. Had I been aborted, I would not have known the difference. Morality, speaking for myself, sits in the realm of experience and suffering is the measure, not in whether a thing lives or does not.
