Birth control is the largest medical experiment in the history of humanity. I am pro hormonal contraceptive in theory but unfortunately we've been sold a lie. I believe it's still the most reliable way of preventing pregnancy but the costs are too high. My daughter had extremely painful heavy periods and was put the pill at 15. Her mental health deteriorated, She began to fail academically, became cloudy headed. As she put it "I cant write anymore, I cant find the words." The worst part is that when she stopped the pill a year and a half later she did not return to the girl she was before. I say run, don't walk, away from hormonal contraception.
