This is a bit late but re: Sex and the City and Pubes. The Samantha story line was that she got a boyfriend who "likes a full bush" so she dutifully grew in her pubes and then was horrified to find grey hair.
S&TC was 3rd wave BS distilled. But it was also, in the early couple of seasons, pretty funny at times. I did not see it through because it was lees funny and more gross as the seasons progressed. The films were vile.
