I enjoyed this talk very much, although, coming from another culture, I am still trying to wrap my head around the arguments against a victimhood mentality (which I haven't fully understood yet) as opposed to being an actual victim. Which is not a criticism, just something that I am still trying to make sense of. Definitely thought provoking as always and I enjoyed the talk very much. Listened to it while driving all around town a few days ago in the sunshine and while in traffic jam, the one line that keeps resonating in my mind is the idea of "just date people who belong to your broader social circle because someone you know knows them." What a revelation. Of course nobody knows anyone anymore (not on the country side either, by the way), we have no social circles (many of us at least), and that's exactly our problem as a whole.

I feel like I'm the only one left who thinks it's weird to date people you don't know hahaha
No I'm with you on this. But it took me 20 years.
I appreciate you sharing your faith, Adam. I imagine it may have been a bit anxiety provoking, but planting seeds is always a worthwhile endeavor :)
Unfortunately Jennifer's company only ships in country.
