Thanks for the level-headed piece. I really am sad for so many young people. Having just got back to Canada from New Orleans, one of the last, if not the last US/Canada 'analogue city', as my friend there calls his adopted hometown, it was shocking to immediately just see everyone plugged into their phones, after a week of virtually nothing of the sort, with people out having endless interactions with friends, strangers, music, drunks, crazies, and everything that's life in all of its infinite variations, barely a personal screen to be seen.
It’s very sad, indeed, heart wrenching, in fact, for me to only now realize I could have been living my best hot girl yacht life, in my 20s, if I had been after money, instead of humor and intellect.
