This might sound harsh but I can care less about all of the female olympians who stayed silent and continued with a "business as usual" disposition. Many argue that they have dedicated their lives to their sports and cannot be expected to speak out when it threatens their life's work. But the existence of men in women's sports will destroy the Olympics for women and girls for decades to come, and apparently they cared more about their shiny medals and whatever advertising deals await in their future than the integrity of athletics. These may be the greatest athletes in the world but they should not be celebrated or praised because they bodies of warriors but character of cowards.

I don't know I feel for them... This is their life's work and goal, and to ruin their chances over this would be of HUGE detriment. The blame resides with the IOC and the sports bodies allowing or encouraging this, primarily, as well as the cheating male athletes. I of course believe everyone needs to stand up, but the female athletes are in a particularly difficult situation. I have far less sympathy for the millions of women across Canada who have decided their income and comfort is more important than mine or yours, so THEY must stay silent or anonymous while we put our necks out on the line and go broke in the process.
