IMHO the reason why the left is so chicken to discuss the dark side of hormonal birth control is that they painted themselves into a corner in bending over backwards to offer simplistic alternatives for the purpose of not wanting to seem "pro-abortion" and "singing the praise of feticide" (truly a strawman if there ever was one), as the band Seether would say. Just like almost every doctor not named Kelly Brogan would be loathe to discuss the dark side of Tylenol, for fear that they might inadvertently drive people back to the evils of (gasp) aspirin.
Quick suggested correction to the 5th sentence: “ I think a woman has the right to terminate a pregnancy at any point prior to conception” - I think you meant “prior to delivery”
